Tell us a little about yourselves!
Liv and Mitch met at a mutual friend’s birthday back in 2015. Although Liv was there with her date at the time, for Mitch, it was love at first sight from the very beginning. Years passed, as timing was never right. However, they eventually reconnected over social media because they shared a mutual passion for travel. From there, they went on their first date, and from that moment on, the rest was history. Liv can recall knowing at the time that Mitch was the one. Over the years, Liv and Mitch bought their first house together, lived through a pandemic, and, in addition, travelled to Mexico, Bali, Queensland, the USA, and Europe, where they eventually got engaged.
Why did you decide to get married where you did?
Previously, Liv had visited Rippon Lea Estate for a work event, where she instantly fell in love with the venue.
How many guests did you have?
We had 133 guests.

Tell us about your outfits.
The theme of the wedding was Elegance with a Twist of Italy. Olivia said ‘yes’ to the dress at Made with Love Bridal. She wore ‘Audrey’ paired with a pearl veil, crepe tie and belt. Meanwhile, Mitchell wore a white blazer to match Olivia and to equally stand out from their bridal party.
What was the most important aspect for you, in terms of planning your wedding?
Above all, the most important thing to us was for our guests to have a wonderful time and for it to be very memorable. We wanted it to be elegant with a fun party vibe! Furthermore, our photographer and videographer were very important to us, as that footage is what we will be looking back on for many years to come.
Were there any elements that were important for you to incorporate?
An amazing photography and videography team. A stunning venue. A violinist. The live pastry chef to help us create our wedding millefoglie cake on stage A DJ who knows how to keep the dancefloor full.
Any tips for couples getting married?
Download a wedding app that has a ‘to-do’ checklist. This is such a great help in working through everything one thing at a time. Utilize Instagram! There are so many amazing local businesses to consider when planning your day. Choose vendors you genuinely vibe with. They are who will make your day amazing. Work through your planning together over a glass (or bottle) of wine.
Are there any vendors that you would like to tell us a little more about?
Our photographer Nick was incredible. He listened to our inspiration and truly made our vision come to life. In addition, our violinist Tahnaya was more than we could have asked for! Her beautiful music set the tone for the entire day.

The cake! We had Pulcinella attend our wedding and assemble the cake in front of our guests with us. As a result, it was an outstanding experience, and our guests are still raving about it. Cake – Pulcinella Cafe
