Old Treasury Building Intimate Wedding | Anthony + Miho

Couples

There’s something special about not sweating the details of a massive traditional wedding and instead, taking your fiance’s hand, your closest friends and family and head down to the local marriage registry and get hitched! Located in the heart of Melbourne CBD, this cute couple chose the Old Treasury Building, with it’s Victorian design, large and wide steps at the front and despite a loud city at the door, it had a quaint, quiet feel inside, perfect to share an intimate wedding together.

For those that believe in finding Love on tinder

“Miho and I met online via Tinder. We went on our first date at Torasan Ramen on Elizabeth street and immediately hit it off. From then we went on a few more dates and it was official not long after.

“We’ve been on a few different trips together as well. The first being our trip to Sydney and the other one was when we went to Japan to visit Miho’s family and they were so kind and welcoming.”

“Originally I had big plans to attend the diner at Crown Casino and propose from our hotel room with beautiful breath taking views but alas lockdowns happened.”

“I quickly changed my plans and planned a nice dinner at home and proposed to Miho from the safety of our apartment and it all went off without a hitch.”

Nothing but Intimacy.

Anthony and Miho were nothing but lovely people and wanted to show that love and affection to those that mean the most to their relationship. Putting effort into wanting the best and most amount of couple photos not only to cherish the day but to also show to Miho’s family as they traveled to Japan the next day. Instead of a big fancy reception right next to the ceremony, instead they all hopped in a “wedding uber”, headed down to The Meat & Wine Co in Southbank and shared some steak and wine together!
